Doylestown, PA – Williams Family Law was proud to continue its ongoing support of the Travis Manion Foundation by serving as a sponsor of the 2018 "Heroes Run," which took place Sunday, September 23rd, at Fonthill Park.
The foundation's namesake, Travis Manion, a native of Doylestown, PA, was a member of the United States Marine Corps who died in action in Iraq on April 29, 2007 as a result of an ambush. His actions during the ambush allowed every member of his patrol to survive while he was killed by a sniper. For that, he was awarded the Silver Star and Bronze Star with Valor. The Travis Manion Foundation, through fundraising efforts like the 9/11 Heroes Run, supports veterans, first responders, and families of fallen heroes, as well as character-building school and community programs.
"Williams Family Law is about family, and so is the Travis Manion Foundation," said Jeffrey M. Williams, Founder and Managing Partner of Williams Family Law. "Character education programs, service to survivor families, service to Gold Star families, and service to communities in general make it a wonderful organization that deserves support from everyone."
