Doylestown, PA - Williams Family Law proudly supported the Travis Manion Foundation 2016 9/11 Heroes Run, which brings together communities across the country to thank local veterans, first responders, and their families. It is sponsored by the Travis Manion Foundation, which is headquartered in Doylestown, Bucks County, the hometown of Travis Manion and his family.
The Travis Manion Foundation is a national foundation focusing on empowering veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop character in future generations. The foundation was named after Travis Manion, a Marine who made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq. Travis was fatally wounded by an enemy sniper while aiding and drawing fire away from his wounded comrades, heroic actions which allowed every member of his patrol to survive. For his actions, he was posthumously awarded the Silver Star and Bronze Star with Valor.
